Sword looks beautiful but did come with a couple rusty spots. They offered a little discount and that made me happier. The sword was sharp but not as sharp as I thought it would be from the reviews and description according to the page. Overall still a beautiful sword that looks well made!

This sword came out a lot better than I thought it would the sword is amazing and the hamon is very nice and well made only 1 things as you can see the saya does not match up as perfect as in the pics but is still very nice but overall love it and will be buying again

Everything on the Katana was tight, Ito wrap, the fittings, tsuba, habaki. The blade does NOT wable. Heavy duty T10, for ridged durability, and a shape and elegant taper for the blade profile. Made for an excellent bamboo cutting sword.
The blade after cutting bamboo after bamboo, (28 stalks) had preformed above my expectations. It showed no signs of chipping, wearing, or anything that would affect the blade and make it go to failure.
It was right out of the box sharp and choji oiled.
I highly recommend this katana, a very skilled craftsman had assembled and forged this T10 blade. The Hamon is absolutely perfect and authentic.
Despite the reviews on Reddit, I was a little weary of dropping that cash on a sword like this, but it is for sure worth it.
I only hope that every katana on this site is assembled, forged with such skill and pride. For a Chinese sword made with Japanese traditional smithing, I can safely say that the katana you might be looking at is worth it.
They have excellent customer service.

Sword over all is great quality for the price. Super sharp, beautifully crafted.
However the saya (sheath) is much brighter than it looks on the site, almost like glitter. I was expecting a more forest green.
All in all very satisfied.

I could not be more pleased with my order of the pictured katana. First, the packaging was very well done. Order arrived in a styrofoam box wrapped in water proof yellow tape. Inside, the blade was in its scabbard (saya) which was in a clear plastic wrap for protection. Upon removing the blade, I found it inside of an oiled tubular plastic wrap for corrosion protection. Second, the scabbard had a beautiful, consistent coloration and was made of hardwood with gold fittings - classy. Third the blade - 5/16" thick at the crossguard (tsuba) tapering to 3/16" at the tip. The differential heat treating line was stunning. The blade was very sharp and the handle was also covered in clear plastic wrap for protection. What a great value - I will definitely be a repeat customer!

From the box, it looked just like the picture but a little better. It’s very sturdy. The details are remarkable. This piece looks authentic, especially at the tip. The hamon is absolutely gorgeous. I love the look of it. I thought the back side was painted black and the cutting edge was grey. It could’ve just been the background reflection in the thumbnail photos. Nevertheless, it’s a very beautiful piece. I’m in love with the green wrapping, it’s a deep bold green.

The Katana is good overall , the only things that I could find wrong with it was the blade rattles in the saya; the Katana was tip heavy and was a bit punishing after swinging it for a while. Despite the downsides the fittings on the Katana were tight and the handle wrap feels good in the hands. Nothing about this Katana is low quality. Overall the Katana was money well spent and you certainly can buy with confidence.
