Its a fine sword to start Iaido training with. A bit light in hand, but has what is needed... hope you take in svords with aluminium/zink blade...

It looks great. The material is good quality and the making shows good craftsmanship. It arrived just in time when I expected. I never saw such a great wooden blade and such a brilliant and detailed handle for those tpye of swords. The wood is very light and also the handle, means it's well balanced as well. It's worth it, I would advice buying.

Very beautiful and detailed craftsmanship. Love this for practicing Iai draws. Do not expect to use this as a bokken! The katana is very light and is not intended for dueling. However, is very nice as a showpiece or for simply practicing draws. I am extremely satisfied with this sword and the attention to detail. I am definitely interested in adding more to my collection. Shipping was laggy but very worth the wait. I highly recommend this to anyone learning Iai or just wants something cool to display.

I was pleased at the ease of ordering and the katana getting here before the birthday party. BUT. The damper on the purchase is the quality if the practice katana. The way the wood is attached to the handle is flimsy and is not attached properly. Its loose and looks like it will come apart if used to practice. I gave this gift and can't get it back to be returned so I'm stuck having giving a faulty katana and fell bad because of it. I wish you could send me a replacement as when the one I gave breaks (and it will) I will be able to make it right. PS. The katana does look nice. David Garner
